My artistic practice explores the relationship between sustainability, memory and human connection through the transformation of discarded materials into contemporary artworks.
For me, love extends beyond human relationships. It can also be understood as an act of care, responsibility and reconnection. Through the process of recovering and transforming materials that have been abandoned by society, my work reflects the possibility of giving a second life to what has been forgotten, revealing value where others may no longer see it.
The works presented in this exhibition explore the connection between people and the objects that surround them, questioning patterns of consumption while highlighting the emotional and cultural histories embedded within materials. Each recovered element carries traces of a previous existence, becoming a metaphor for resilience, renewal and belonging.
Within the context of Love is Love, my practice considers love as a transformative force: a gesture of preservation rather than disposal, of repair rather than replacement. It is an invitation to reflect on our relationship with the environment, with one another, and with the shared responsibility of caring for the world we inhabit.
Through recycled materials, I seek to create visual narratives that celebrate transformation, connection and hope, demonstrating that what is often considered waste can still possess beauty, meaning and the capacity to inspire new forms of dialogue.
